As the weather begins to cool off and fall comes along, it’s time to pull out jackets, sweaters and boots. It’s also time to experiment with an entire new bundle of seasonal trends.
Here are five fall trends directly from the runway to you.
1. Graphic Sweater: Sweaters and sweatshirts have entered an entirely new quirky world.
Fun graphics like animals, cheeky sayings and stars are all over this fall staple.
Wear them as simply as you do solid-olored sweaters, nd pull them on over jeans.
2. Bejeweled: Fake jewels, sequins and beads are popping up on everything from tees to jackets to shoes.
I prefer the bejeweled tees because the jewels add a dose of unexpected fun to traditional T-shirts.
Find items with only a small dose of sparkle, maybe on just the shoulders so that it’s not overwhelming.
3. Oxblood: Oxblood is a deep red color that’s so rich it’s almost purple. The color functions as a neutral that goes with nearly every other color.
Oxblood colored jeans are an easy way to sample this trend.
4. Girly leather: Obviously, leather has never gone out of style. The leather jacket has been a staple for decades, but the new trend involves leather ruffles, sweet lace-like cutouts and babydoll dresses.
Try a flouncy faux-leather miniskirt paired with a graphic sweater.
5. Printed pants: You may think this trend is for the more daring fashionista, but that doesn’t have to be the case.
Try a pair of muted floral-printed or polka-dotted jeans for an added touch of whimsy to your typical jeans and T-shirt uniform.
