The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II, authorized by the 2021 Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, provides funding to colleges across the states in efforts to help the of students whose lives have been disrupted and are possibly facing financial challenges.

Each student’s current financial aid file at Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be used to determine how much they receive. Those who completed their financial aid and had an expected family contribution score below 5711, the maximum for Pell Grant eligibility, will receive $300.

However, students who either did not file for financial aid or have an expected family contribution exceeding 5711 may receive $200. The amount each student will receive has already been determined and can be viewed under the Financial Aid section in the SE Colleague Self-Service.

If you did not choose to have the payment applied to your account balance, the funds will be dispersed to the direct deposit or mailing address that you have on file. For more information check your student email or contact Financial Aid at [email protected].

Funds are expected to be disbursed between April 6 and 7.
