On Sept. 9 the savage storm tennis team held the third annual Rock the Courts Pro-am Tournament.
The event is a tennis double tournament that pairs Southeastern players with people in the community to raise money for the tennis program while there is fun activities, music and great tennis to watch.
This year’s event held the most participating players yet with 36 members, including 18 community participants.
The team of Dr. Gordon and Max Fill were the big winners of the night, winning in the finals of the tournament. Over $2,000 was raised for both men’s and women’s tennis for the coming spring season.
The SE cheer squad made an appearance at the event bringing great energy to the tournament. There was a great crowd of spectators throughout the night that came to support and also cheered on the competitors.
