Southeastern is keeping the tradition of giving with their semiannual food drive this semester.
The Wellness Center is accepting items, starting on Jan. 22. Donations will be accepted through Feb. 12.
Some items of desperate need are pop-top items such as soups, chili, ravioli, macaroni and cheese, canned fruit, and chicken. Other items are popcorn, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, cheese crackers, granola bars, ramen, and pickles.
“We are really trying to fill our shelves in the storage room, they are pretty bare,” explained Debra Fulenchek, the Wellness Coordinator and Clinical Counselor at Southeastern.
This is the fifth year the Wellness Center has done the food drive.
You can donate any items at the Wellness Center located in the Student Union Building.
