Lost Street Brewing Co. hosted a Halloween costume contest for dogs on Thursday, Oct. 28. The community of Durant was encouraged to bring their furry friends to celebrate this Halloween in a unique way.

Costumes varied widely, and included fun themes such as hot-dogs, bank robbers, witches, sharks and even Georgie from Stephen King’s “It”. Many of the dogs’ costumes coordinated with their owner.

Three judges voted for their favorites and the winning costumes included Shark Attack, Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf and Taco Truck.

LSBC is a dog-friendly business and regularly hosts events catered to dogs and their owners.

They sell handcrafted accessories such as bandanas and collapsable bowls, and even recycle their spent grains into healthy dog treats.
