First Friday preparations
On Thursday, September 5, Ieysha Sanders, a Southeastern senior Advertising/Public Relations major, sets up Fall decorations outside the Durant Main Street office in preparation for First Friday. First Friday is a monthly event that encourages the community to eat, shop, and live local on the first Friday of every month. Shops offer later shopping hours, live musicians on the sidewalks throughout the district, plus a special theme each month.
