Crooked Smile Trail now open at Southeastern

New Crooked Smile cross country trail opens on SE campus.

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Athletics has announced today the opening of Crooked Smile Trail for immediate use beginning Monday, November 13th. The trailhead is currently located at the south end of the SE softball parking lot located at 2408 N. 1st Avenue in Durant.

The trail will serve as home to Southeastern Cross Country and other cross country competitions.

The construction of the trail is possible by proceeds from Colton’s Run. Crooked Smile trail provides a safe, well-designed trail to be utilized by both Southeastern and Durant schools for practice and to hold meets. The trail is also open for the community to run, walk, and exercise.

Southeastern would like to thank Trace and Dena Sherrill, Page Surveying & Associates, Bushwackers, Herc Rentals, Healthy Hearts Oklahoma, and Presidential Partners for their contributions to the project.

Below are policies for the trail:

Open from dawn to dusk

No bicycles, motorized vehicles, or horses on trail

Please leash and cleanup after pets

For an emergency, call 911 or Southeastern campus police at 580-745-2727
