7 Must-See TV series for fall

It’s October! Which means, new TV shows are premiering for the fall. Old shows like the Walking Dead, Stranger Things, The Voice, Supernatural, Lucifer, The Middle, and This is Us are set to release this fall but if you need a new TV show to watch, or perhaps a few, this list is perfect for you. Grab a blanket, a hot chocolate, the remote, and enjoy these fall releases!

  1. Ghosted – Ghosted released its first episode on Fox on Oct. 1. The show follows former missing persons detective Leroy Wright who does not believe in aliens and Max Jennifer, a man that is convinced that his wife has been abducted. They are forced to work together when Captain Ava Lafrey recruits them to work with the Bureau Underground to investigate paranormal cases.
  2. The Gifted – The Fox show, The Gifted, released on Oct. 2. The Marvel universe expands its reach into television in this adventure series about a ordinary family whose lives are changed when they discover that their children have developed mutant powers.
  3. The Mayor – The pilot of The Mayor was released on Oct. 3 on ABC. This sitcom created by Jeremy Bronson follows a struggling hip-hop artist who decides to run for mayor as a promotional stunt for his mixtape.
  4. Valor – The CW will release its new TV drama, Valor, on Oct. 9. The show will follow an elite unit of helicopter pilots at a U.S. Army base. This fictional show explores the difference between military discipline and natural human desires. The unit uncovers personal and military secrets that lead to a plan to rescue a group of MIA soldiers.
  5. 9JKL – 9JKL released its first episode on CBS on Oct. 2. This TV comedy follows Josh Roberts, a divorced actor, who decides to move home to regroup. He lives in an apartment between his parents and brother and sister-in-law. Roberts deals with intruding parents, bragging family members, and other comedic characters.
  6. Dynastry – Dynasty is premiering on The CW Oct. 11. It is a soap opera series reboot based on a 1980s series of the same name. The show follows two of America’s wealthiest families as the compete over family and money.
  7. Wisdom of the Crowd – The CBS drama Wisdom of the Crowd made its television debut on Oct. 1. It follows a visionary tech innovator who creates a cutting edge crowdsourcing app to help solve his daughter’s murder. The idea of the app is to tap into millions of minds and use the “wisdom of the crowd” for information.
