OSF has already kicked into high gear this summer! The cast and crew is fresh off of an exciting preseason performing at Durant’s annual Magnolia Festival with productions of “The Lion King” and “A Tribute to Wonder Woman”. The Children’s Theatre Workshop and Young Actor’s Studio are also now in full swing. The Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival prides itself on providing not only high quality productions for its audiences, but also opportunities for the youth of Texoma to actively participate in theatre and the arts.

“Henry V”, set in the early 1400s, revolves around the fabled English King Henry V and his exploits at the Battle of Agincourt during the Hundred Years’ War. The play follows the maturation of Henry from a rowdy, unruly adolescent to a noble warrior and leader. You can head “once more unto the breach” for only $20 on July 14, 19, & 22 at 7:30pm.

The festival is also thrilled to be undertaking the classic fairytale, “Cinderella.” Cinderella’s life takes a turn for the better when she exchanges her life as a servant for a life of magic and true love. Written by the iconic duo of Rodgers and Hammerstein, the production comes complete with the characters you know and love, including the Fairy Godmother and a handsome prince. Watch the magic unfold July 16 & 23 at 2:00pm, or July 21 at 7:30pm; tickets are $20.

You’re invited to enjoy an evening of eating and entertainment with the dinner theatre performances of “Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding”. An immersive, interactive, and improvisational comedy, this unique experience, set in the 1980s, makes the audience part of the show! “Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding” will be performed July 13 and 15 at 6:30pm. Tickets cost $40, which includes your meal!

The Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival will also be presenting its very own “Company Cabaret”.
