In celebration of Black History Month, scientists and inventors set up a Kahoot in the Student Union Atrium from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on February 22.

A Kahoot is a series of questions on a specific topic. There is usually an unlimited amount of players, for a fun game-like learning experience.

This Kahoot had 25 different questions, recognizing black scientist and inventors, and was created by Brooke Johnson, junior psychology major.

Johnson said, “I found the questions by researching and organizing the less recognized scientist and inventors, to shine light on what people did not know. In doing this, I found out a lot of things that I did not even know myself.”

This event was put on by Student Life. Faith Huddleston, Administrative Assistant of Student life, ran this event and invited students to participate.
