Southeastern got a combined 24 kills from Lunden Azuara and Jordan Parks en route to a 3-0 season-ending win over Southwestern Oklahoma State Nov. 6 in Weatherford.
The Savage Storm won the opening set 25-23 and followed with wins of 26-24 and 25-15 for the 3-0 sweep.
The win gives the Storm a final record of 10-15 for the season and 6-8 in Lone Star Conference play.
SE will finish officially in a tie for eighth in the conference standings, but will miss out on the postseason tournament because Incarnate Word also ended its season with a win and holds a tiebreaker over the Storm thanks to a win in San Antonio, Texas, earlier in the season.
Azuara led the way on offense with 13 kills, while Parks added 11 kills and hit .529 for the match.
Chelsea White had her second-best assist total for a three-set match with 34 on the night, while also adding four kills, nine digs and three blocks.
On the back row, Raelynn Beaty led all defenders with 19 digs, while Azuara added 18 and Erin Backhuus and Courtney Miller each chipped in 12.
The Storm outblocked the Bulldogs 8.0-to-4.0 as a team, led by Parks with four blocks, while Miller, White and Brittany McDonald each added three.
The opening set was a dogfight until SE broke a 16-16 tie and turned in a 6-0 run to take a lead and hold off a late SWOSU charge for a 25-23 win.
Set two was back-and-forth as well until the Bulldogs took a 23-20 lead. Then SE scored six of the final seven points to earn the 26-24 set win.
After the teams fought to a 7-7 tie in the final set, SE used a 9-2 run to take a 16-9 lead and pulled away for the 25-15 win.
SE finished the season winning four of its last five contests.
