The U.S. News & World Report ranked the best schools in the country according to MBA statistics and named SE MBA at 103rd.
Southeastern Oklahoma State University has received a new rank in its historical victories, and it has the Master of Business Administration to thank for it.
According to the “U.S. News & World Report.’’ SE’s online MBA program has ranked 103 out of 195 schools listed in what has been referred to as the “best” category.
Essentials that rank the programs into this category range from the efficiency of admissions selectivity, overall reputation and services available to students concerning post-graduation and pre-graduation counseling.
The MBA program director Lawrence Silver noted this new ranking as an opportunity to be recognized across the country. Silver also emphasized how SE’s MBA program is modestly affordable and the services provided by it to students are easy to understand and use.
Assistant MBA Director Robert Howard said, “What really helps the MBA reach this rank is its concentrations. We’ve focused on various levels such as Native American students and entrepreneurship, allowing more accessibility for out-of-degree students who have graduated and are needing aid in the career field.”
Howard emphasized that the MBA program has been active since the 70’s, and due to being accredited. The program has been aided by affordable tuition and professor quality among faculty.
“It is fantastic,” said Howard. “Since we took MBA online, interest has peaked.”
The mentioned affordable tuition has been reinforced by geteducated.com, which named Southeastern as the third most affordable in the United States.
The MBA program has further reinforcement by being named as the only accredited school from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business based on a regional span for the state.
Notable areas of focus that the SE MBA has declared includes leadership by Native American students, management ethics and processes, regulations and procedures of safety and systems on medical aid.
Statistical rankings in favor of the SE MBA have placed faculty credentials and training at 87, student services and technology at 37, student engagement at 42 and admissions selectivity at 39, according to usnews.com.
Howard has hopes that the SE MBA will continue to grow in its rank with more concentrations on select areas within the coming years.
