Earth Day at Southeastern

Earth Day at Southeastern

Earth day is Saturday, April 22. Southeastern is hosting the Earth Day Festival on Monday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. located in the Student Union atrium and front lawn. Kathleen Hardgrove’s costume design students will be putting on a “Trash N2 Fashion” show where students will be able to vote on 18 designer fashions made out of recyclables. In addition to this activity, the festival will feature a K-cup potting demonstration, kite flying, a found art contest, corn-hole, an Earth-friendly car show and a campus tree tour.
