Southeastern Rodeo hopes for a successful season

The Southeastern Rodeo team will open their season in Colby, Kansas September 16-18. The SE rodeo team has 26 team members this season. 12 of those members are new to the team.
The team hopes to start the season with a strong first rodeo with the goal of having numerous College National Finals Rodeo qualifiers by the end of the season. Southeastern rodeo team has three returning College National Finals Rodeo Qualifiers.
Sophomore, ShiAnn Henderson made the 2016 CNFR in goat tying. She will compete in goat tying, breakaway roping and barrel racing.
Also returning, are team roping partners Kolton White and Brody Braden. This team was the Central Plains Region Team Roping Champions last year, which gave them a ticket to the 2016 CNFR.
Coach Braudrick hopes to have many CNFR Qualifiers this year and she believes this is the team to do that. “Every person that is on this team is someone that I believe has the talent to make the CNFR,” Coach Braudrick said.
The Southeastern Rodeo Team will make the 8 hour trip to Colby September 16-18. They will then return to host their own hometown rodeo in Durant October 6-8.
