Did you know what major you wanted to get when you first got to college? If not, how did you figure it out? How do you recommend someone who isn’t so sure to figure it out?
Absolutely not. I think we all sort of come into college with an idea of what we want, but it is not until we start doing it that it actually feels right or wrong. There are two ways to look at it.
If you know what you are into, and think you’ve got it planned out, get involved and contribute to that department/field of study. In doing this you’ll find out if it’s really what you want to be doing, or if it isn’t what you anticipated.
It may lead you to the job and field of your dreams, or show you that you should start considering other options. If that’s the case, there are so many student organizations to try out that may lead you to that dream field of study. It all comes down to getting involved.
