The biology department at Southeastern has a wildlife club for all students that are interested in joining. The club has been around for about 25 years and aims to get together like-minded
individuals and share relevant information including participating in area activities related to wildlife, helping students build a resume in professional development, after graduating college.
The club travels to different locations all over the state of Oklahoma to local nature preserves to do volunteer work, such as building, fence removal and constructing educational events for schools.
They raise money by doing yearly fundraisers including designing and selling t-shirts and having a fish fry and chili cook off for the club.
The other extra fun activities that they like doing as a group is camping and canoeing. For more information about the wild life club contact Tim Patton by phone 580-745-2284 or Email [email protected].
