Aug. 15: 11:47 a.m. – Incident reported in Student Union: Student injury.
Aug. 18: 9:15 p.m. – Domestic violence: A female student is physically assaulted in Shearer Hall.
A male student (campus police declined to release his name) got jealous after he saw the female talking to other male students and persuaded her to come up to his room, pretending as though he were not angry.
After they were in the room he physically assaulted her, leaving marks which were later documented by the police.
A struggle then took place as she tried to escape. The male student was described as having enjoyed the confrontation.
After the male student assaulted her and forced the female student out of his room, she called her friends. The female student’s friends then escorted her to their room in North Hall.
The male student followed them into North Hall and sent the female student repeated text messages expressing the fact that he was sorry.
They noticed the male student had followed them and called the police. The Campus Police then arrested the male student and notified him that the reason for his arrest was domestic violence. He denied having done anything wrong.
The male student was shown sufficient reason for arrest. The male student was expelled from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and booked into Bryan County Jail.
Sept. 9: 7:17 p.m. – Incident: Baseball hits car.
Sept. 15: 11:50 p.m. – Incident reported in BCM north parking lot: Student injury. A male student was walking through the BCM parking lot when he was bit on the ankle by a dog described as a “snow white” pit bull/shih-tzu. The dog was later found, and it was reported it didn’t have rabies.
Sept. 19: 2:45 a.m. – Incident: Damaged vehicle on Chuckwa Street.
Sept 19: 10 p.m. – Incident: A prank occurred in the Choctaw Dorms, with an unknown number of victims.
Sept. 24: 5 a.m. – Incident: Student injury. A student incurred a leg injury on the tennis court.
Sept. 26: 10 p.m. – Incident: Student injury. A student who was complaining of chest pains in Chickasaw Hall was taken to, treated and released from MCSO hospital.
Sept. 27: 4:17 p.m. – Assault and battery: An argument turned into a major physical confrontation occurring between two male students the Choctaw Lobby.
Sept. 28: 6:30 p.m. – Larceny/ theft: Keys and a phone were stolen from the football training facility.
