One of America’s most popular shows, Gilmore Girls, has been revived for “A Year in the Life” four part special on Netflix. The show aired in 2000 and ran for seven seasons. Fans across the world were heart broken when the mother-daughter duo left their television screen for good.

The revival of the hit comedy series turned into an emotional rollercoaster. The opening of the “Winter” episode brought chills and misty eyes as Rory and Lorelai played over the opening scene in town square. The “Winter” episode also introduced fans to Emily’s new life without her husband of 50 years, Richard.

Watching the funeral scene is very difficult but Amy Sherman Palladino, creator of the series, gave Gilmore Girls fans a great deal of closure. When Richard Gilmore passed away fans felt his loss. They wanted to say their goodbyes and she gave them that moment to let go.

The rest of the epsiodes, “Spring”, “Summer” and “Fall”, were just as outstanding as the first one. Each one was emotional and each one filled fans’ hearts with the same sentiments the show did in its original form.

The highlights of the show included Rory’s confusing romantic life, her career, Lorelai’s marriage to Luke, the Stars Hollow Musical and Lorelai’s “Wild” adventure. Each mini-movie gave fans a look into how the Gilmore Girls handle situations that many have or will experience in their lives.

The last four words of the revival left everyone breathless. Gilmore Girls and Netflix have raved on social media not to spoil the last four words of the show. Fans will feel closure, but will also feel considerably sad. They WILL want more. Don’t spoil the last four words.
